Our in-house experience means that we are acutely aware of the pressure even the largest organizations face when it comes to external legal spending.

Stratem Law wants you to be comfortable with the level of charges you are paying. You will receive good estimates of costs, detailed billing records and regular billing.   You can be assured that bills will never be subject to “padding”.

Discounts are automatically applied for high volume work. As a small consultancy – there is no pressure for high billing – the only pressure we face is to achieve client satisfaction. 

While most types of work are more suitable to charging at hourly rates, we will also consider fixed fees in some circumstances.

Standard Consultant Rate              £265 / hour plus VAT
Volume Discount
The Standard Consultant Rate will be reduced by 5% each £10,000 of fees paid in any calendar year up to maximum discount of 25%*

*max discount 25% Lower rate applies to first bill submitted after previous threshold has been reached. i.e. Once £10,000 of fees have been paid, discount is applied to the next £10,000 of fees etc.  Annual period relates to when time is recorded irrespective of when billed or paid. i.e. if sum is recorded in 2007 but contained in a bill submitted in 2008 –fees will count towards 2007 discount. Rate reverts to Standard Consultant Rate on 1st Jan each year. Full details and terms and conditions available on request.
